Head, Department of Non-metallic Materials Research

Professor Cao joined NIIAM in March 2017 responsible for research and development of additive manufacturing polymer materials. In April, 2017, he was promoted as head of Department of Ceramic Materials Research and deputy chief engineer.

Currently Professor Cao is a professor at School of Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. His teaching and research mainly engaged in organic synthesis, organic theory, as well as synthesis, modification and application of organic polymer materials.

Professor Cao has published over 30 papers, was accredited with four Technology and Science Progress Awards from China Central and Shaanxi province. Professor Cao holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University P.R. China.
