Project Manager, Project of Additive Manufacturing Automobile Composite Body and Rapid Mold

Dr. Huaying Wu engaged in high-energy beam jetting forming, additive manufacturing, and rapid casting since her PhD study. In December 2016, she became a member of NIIAM in charge of composite automobile body additive manufacturing technology development program, extruder deposition process (EDP) 3D printing equipment and long fiber injecting (LFI) forming equipment research.

So far, Dr. Wu has been the PI for several government-funded projects and participated in dozens of government funded as well as industrial-funded projects. She has designed and successfully launched highly integrated 5 axis intelligent spraying equipment to the market. Dr. Wu has received over RMB 10 million research grants, published more than 10 SCI/EI papers, took part in 2 GB proposals, and held 1 invention IP.
