Dr. Wang joined National Institute Corporation of Additive Manufacturing, Xi'an, in August 2016 as a Deputy Chief Engineer. In December, 2016, he was appointed as Assistant of the Director of NIIAM. He is now responsible R&D of additive manufacturing healing medical equipment and the Alliance membership liaison and management. His research interests focus on Dental orthodontic system software, invisible orthodontic materials and manufacturing technology, precision medical function model, medical degradable stent rapid prototyping equipment, personalized surgical navigation template and medical implants.

Prior to NIIAM, Dr. Jing Wang worked as a project manager in Suzhou Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology responsible for technology promotion and commercialization.

He is also a researcher in Advanced Manufacturing Research Institute, School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Fellow of Shaanxi Provincial Committee of Experts on Cardiopulmonary Bypass, Fellow of China Medical Biotechnology Association Additive Manufacturing Council.

Dr. Jing Wang holds a Ph.D in Circuit and System from Jilin University. He was a Research Associate and Visiting Scholar in biomedical engineering, University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (UWM), USA.
