To meet uprising demand of high-level technical and management talents in AM industry, we work together with Xi’an Jiaotong University engaging in undergraduate, graduate, doctorial education（planning）programs. These programs aim at developping open-minded high level talents with cutting-edge AM industry knowledge and international perspectives, capable of designing, researching and managing.

Undergraduates: 3D Printing International Elite Program

The program is tailored to deliver undergraduate education in additive manufacturing (AM), with AM courses (in English), AM-oriented hands-on practices both in school and factory, as well as international exchange opportunities.  The program is offered as an option for ME majored students at the end of freshman year. The graduates of this program are expected to either work in industrial companies developing new AM technologies or continue their graduate studies at home or abroad.   

Graduates: Engineering Postgraduate Program

NIIAM works as one of XJTU off-campus education bases, a number of graduate students are to be sent to NIAAM for internship to solve onsite engineering problems based on their research interests to expose them to cutting-edge manufacturing techniques and applications. The courses for students in this program include special modules in additive manufacturing such as innovative design, Additive manufacturing  materials, processes, equipments development and their maintenance and etc. Other modules of state-of-the-art manufacturing technologies and mechanical engineering are optional such as robotics and intelligent computing informatics for manufacturing engineering.
