Invited by Iain Todd, director of MAPP EPSRC Future Manufacturing Hub, Dr. Lijuan ZHANG attended the First International Conference held by MAPP on 30th-31st January 2018,at Royal Victoria Hotel, Sheffield in U.K.. The conference focused on discussions and communications on cutting-edge technology problems related to 3D Printing process, materials, monitoring, testing and control etc. Renowned researchers, scholars and experts from U.S., Germany, Italy and U.K. got together delivering speeches and sharing their innovations.

After the conference, Dr. ZHANG visited Stefan Dimov, head of Advanced Manufacturing Technology Centre, School of Mechanical Engineering, and University of Birmingham. She also met with Professor Richard Hague, Director of Centre for Additive Manufacturing (CfAM), and Professor Adam Clare, University of Nottingham.
