On September 17-20, 2018, the 3rd Sino-France Culture Forum, organized by Chinese and French government is held in Xi’an, China. Bingheng LU, Director and Chief Engineer, National Innovation Institute of Additive Manufacturing, was invited to this event and gave a lecture at Sino-France Education Innovation Forum.

“Additive manufacturing could greatly improve student’s innovation capability as it can make whatever design real. NIIAM has been holding National 3D Printing Design Competition 3 years successively which attracted students from colleges, middle schools even primary schools to design and show their works. It is a good example of how additive manufacturing could facilitate innovation.” Academician LU commented.

As the leading innovation center in additive manufacturing in China, NIIAM have set up a series of integrated courses and training programs for professionals, college students and vocational schools to grow the workforce.
