Xi'an, Shaanxi, China, September 8, 2018, the three day event, 2018 international Additive Manufacturing Expo（2018 IAME）, organized by NIIAM , brought more than 3000 professional visitors, came to a close. Consisting of 5 major activities, it held 6 forums, 1 top-level panel discussions, 2 contract signing ceremonies, 1 3D Printing and Design Competition, attracted over 50 exhibitors.

Under the theme 'Additive Manufacturing and Big Data', 2018 IAME aims at building an open, cooperative, and shared platform for AM community by gathering world's top talents to share the latest achievements in AM technologies and applications, to promote the integration of innovation chain, industrial chain, and capital chain. 2018 IAME hold 6 forums from September 6-8, 2018 which gathered over 40 experts including government officials, technology gurus, academic leaders, business elites, and venturing experts. They shared their knowledge and perspectives, discussed opportunities and challenges of 3D printing and its applications.
