Additive Manufactured Micro Turbine Engine

With development of unmanned air vehicles (UAV) in various fields, the demands for micro turbine engines（MTE） are increasing. This project focuses on developing MTE including turbojet engine, turboshaft engine and micro-turbine by adopting additive manufacturing technology to achieve rapid manufacturing. It shortens design, manufacturing process as well as enhances performance. In this project, the parts numbers are reduced by 64%. The research and development cycle has also dramatically shortened as design-manufacturing-experiment-redesign process is integrated.

We welcome partners with strong advantages at multi-disciplinary optimization design or additive manufacturing post treatment i.e. internal flow path polishing, machining.
