The 2019 International 3D Printing and Design Competition (2019 I3DC), the successor and upgrade of the National 3D Printing and Design Competition, is co-organized by University Alliance of the Silk Road (UASR), National Innovation Institute of Additive Manufacturing (China), Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (France), and HESAM Université (France). In 2019, the competition’s Division II-University Students is open to international participants for the first time. We received in total over 150 entries from over 300 participants, among which 18 entries are from international participants, including France, Germany, Japan and Korea. We are encouraged by the quality of the work submitted in this year’s competition and we take great pride in presenting nine international finalists carefully selected by our judges (ranked in no particular order) –
